On Thursday this week, May 15, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments in a case involving Trump’s executive order that aims to wipe out birthright citizenship. A decision is expected in June or July. As we wrote last week, if the Court rules for Trump in this case, “this will represent a further leap to all-out fascism. Yes, it is just that serious.”

Orders to provide some shred of evidence that people deported are actually the “violent gang-members,” “terrorists,” and “invaders” the Trump regime claimed they are—defied! An order from the Supreme Court, the highest court in the U.S. system, to facilitate the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who the government admitted had been deported by mistake to a Salvadoran prison—defied!
