Episode 39 came out during the week of the Trump impeachment hearings and during a time where the potential for many to confront the real stakes of the failed fascist white-supremacist coup were great. With the conflict at the top marking a certain direction and the question of whether Black people can truly “break the chains” in the air, we bring to you an episode that opens up some of the important contributions from Bob Avakian to the struggle for the liberation of Black people and the emancipation of humanity.

This episode will bring forward revolution in sharp contrast to the all-too-familiar conversations on endless resistance or “the greedy corporations”! It underlines some of Bob Avakian’s history and some of the impact that he has had on others, from the 1960s to the present. And it speaks to the stakes around the impeachment trial.
